Transportation In Miami
In Miami, if you don't have a private transportation you will suffer. This city is growing fastly but its puplic transportation system has been the same for several years. The metromover covers a small and limited area in downtown. In addition, it is very crowded, not so neat, poor air conditioning in some of the vehicles. The only advantage is that it is for free. One day, I tried the bus from Brickell, a nighborhood near downtown, to Hialeah at north and I spent two hours. The bus stopped approximately 90 times!.
The day at the Museum
It was very nice trip. We went yesterday to the History Museum located in the Miami-
Dade Cultural Center .we took the metro mover from Brikcle to the Government center.
I Was very happy because I hadn't been to a museum since 2001.
I Learned many things at the museum, for example like the history of Aviation , Blacks and African Americans, the Civil war and I learned about Reconstruction, Enviromental history. I learned how women have lived in south Florida.
Really,I had fun during this trip, and I enjoyed with my teachers and my friends. ;)
A day at Miami history museum
On Thrusday 13th of October we went to Miami history museum. We went by metromover, it's near our school.
The visit was long for two hours and all the time we stayed with a tour guide. She told us a lot of different things about Miami history.
At first, we saw a lot of fossils since the prehistoric and the lady told us about human evolution.
Secondly she showed us projectiles which Americans used a few year ago when they were in conflict with other countries.
Also we saw many kinds of transport like boats, trains, airplanes...
It was so interesting and I would like to come back.

Miami History Museum
Yesterday, me and my class went to the Miami History Museum by metromover from the school. In the museum we had a Tourist Guide expert in History who talked to us about prehistory. We saw bones, teeth, a turtle fossil, pictures of prehistoric animals and indians.
Then, she talked about the arrival for the Spanish people to Florida and how they worked on the land, and built strong castles for war. But they didn't do it by themselves, they brought slaves from Africa to do all the hard work.
Also the guide told us the story about the cowboys, their lifestyle in their homestead on the forest many years ago. The things they did to survive.
And at the end of the visit, we entered to the Aviation Exposition, where we could see pictures of old airports and planes, real simulators, sits, clothes for pilots and flight attendants, that all these things belong to PanAm Airlines.
The most important thing I learned during the visit is how important it is for Florida to receive inmigrants from many countries who contribute to the development and growth of the State.

my day at the history museum :)))))
The visit in the museum was very interesting, we learned a lot of things about the history of Miami from the prehistory to ours days.
The last time i visited a museum was one year ago, but after yesterday i will come back soon. Maybe on my next visit I will go to the museum of architecture.
Anyway I think that Miami it is not a city with a lot of interesting culture in comparison with other cities or other countries that they have more years of history.
